Tantra John & @jimstephens80 make up the duo tantra_thursdays. John & Jim met in 1999 and became instant best friends. They bonded through music and learned the art of vinyl mixing together that same year. John & Jim have held many residencies and thrown countless events throughout the Southwest DJing alongside and opening for incredible artists such as Jody Wisternoff, Joeski, Dave Seaman, Darin Epsilon, D:Fuse, Kaskade, Low End Specialists, DJ Micro, Johnny Fiasco, Keoki, Just_Jeremiah, Che Martinez, The Rev and many more... In 2005, Tantra Thursdays was created. Each week John & Jim would drop the most seductive records and tracks they could find to keep the candlelit dance floor of The Hideaway packed and wanting more. Tantra found different homes through the years and in June 2020 started on Twitch. Most recently Tantra John has had the honor of playing direct support sets for Wassu, Jody Wisternoff and Paavo (P.O.S) of Above and Beyond.
