**NEW RULES ON VIEWER SOLDIERS FOR COVERT INFILTRATION:** - Redeems for soldier additions will be First in First Out on a queue with one exception to this rule: - If there are a number of queued redeems due to full crew quarters, I will split up multiple redeems made by the same viewer to give other viewers more of a guarantee to have at least one soldier in the barracks - You cannot go over one owned soldier using **Change Random Rookie into one of yours** redeem - People who have subscribed during the last campaign, their characters can show up naturally and pass this two soldier limit. - Tier 2 subscribers as normal: one character is guaranteed to be in the barracks from day one - Tier 3 subscribers as normal: that one character and future characters found in campaign become a squaddie for free with a spec preference - **Join XCOM** can also go over the limit of one but will be queued like everything else. The character will still be made, but if there isn't room, they'll be queued after getting saved to the character pool. How I run XCOM 2's campaign is a form of Twitch Integration first put forward by **Dporticus**! He's been a major inspiration to build this system with my own spin on it to keep it unique rather than a blatant copy. Please follow his channel below to support him as thanks for this idea, very entertaining guy to watch! **[Dporticus' Twitch channel](https://www.twitch.tv/dporticus)** The way it works is that you can spend Channel Points (Or Tech Credits, as I call them) to make me summon in enemies or allies of your choice and deal with them in real time via console commands. Even if you don't have points, you can still take part in the periodic polls that show up every 5 turns. Three randomly generated options will appear on the screen that you can vote with 1, 2 or 3 in the chat. They can be friendly or enemy (More often enemy) and it ranges from a few Lost Zombies, to multiple Chosen at once! As I progress in the campaign, more powerful redeems and polls will unlock and most of the current redeems will scale into later game. # KEY NOTE: Tech Credits (Channel Points) are only going to be actionable during the XCOM 2 streams, I haven't got any use cases for the Sunday streams yet. Currently open for ideas. ## Disclaimer: This is currently an experiment, at best, so Credit costs and what each one does can change each week, depending on feedback and experience in-game. Using a modification to the XCOM 2 executable to allow for console use, you can potentially impact my squad. ## General rules on how this will work: - Any of these squads/units can be friend or foe if they have a text entry. Either way, they'll be almost always AI controlled, ADVENT or Resistance. Any with either no AI or finnicky allied AI will be changed to my side instead to keep them useful. Allies will be summoned at any time during my turn. Enemies will be summoned only at the start of my turn or after breaking concealment If you don't want to wait for the channel points to accumulate, you can do the same thing with **1/10 of the channel points** amount in bit donations. Or you can simply donate via the streamelements link to the right to directly donate to me. Depending on how much you send, I'll give you a free redeem (Or multiple if it's a very generous one) as personal thanks!

It'll allow you to keep informed on when I'm Live and will help me out with higher visibility on Twitch. # Subscribing to my channel will currently provide the following benefits: - Ad-free viewing - New and cool badge and emotes! - Faster Tech Credit gain to change the battlefield and take part in the missions/campaign more often! - Any XCOM soldier you own will get a free Minor Power-up upon recruiting in the campaign, to be called upon your pick of class when he/she becomes Squaddie - Any XCOM soldier you make as part of the "Join XCOM" channel point reward will be able to be recruitable/findable in future runs without needing to use Tech Credits to bring them back. **Non-subscribers can ONLY bring their previously made characters back on future runs via the "Change a random character to one of yours" Redeem** **Tier 2 Subscription** - Tier 1 bonuses plus below - One extra emote - One character of your choice will be guaranteed on the roster at the start of every run. If you have no characters, you can make one via the "Join XCOM" channel point reward - You may reroll your class once for free if you're not happy with what you've been picked **Tier 3 Subscription** - Tier 1+2 bonuses plus below - One more epic emote - Full control of your character progression, classes and perks 100%. - You may additionally get a single class/ability reroll if you're not happy with what you've been dealt. You may even have a spec preference, if you have a specific archetype that you want your character to be!. - One non-hero character of your choice will be added to the starting roster for future playthroughs. If any future soldiers are Hero characters (e.g Reaper), then first matching class will be converted to their character (So long as they match their subclass, e.g. Reaper Scythe) - Any soldier picked up that you own will be automatically promoted to a Squaddie

I don't use Twitter/Facebook for this hobby, but depending on how things go, never say never!

# Missed a stream or want to catch up? If you missed the stream and are worried you'll miss the VOD before it disappears into the ether, never fear! All my streams I'm posting to my Youtube channel for long-term VOD storage. Sadly I realised it a bit too late on my Commander difficulty XCOM2 playthrough so the first few episodes are gone, apologies on that front.
