Thanks for hanging out everyone, My name is Ed, though I do go by Mantis or Shrimp, depending on if I'm popping off or playing like garbage respectively. I'm a college student (soon to be college graduate) studying physics with a focus on astrophysics and cosmology, with ambitions of one day being a NASA employee or even astronaut. I've been a PC gamer since I built my first rig in my freshman year of high school, where I pumped hundreds of hours into CS:GO only to get placed in Silver 3 once I worked up the courage to try ranked. lmao. (It worked out tho I made it to DMG before the great Winter Update Purge of 2015). From there, a few of my major time sink games included Payday 2, Killing Floor 2, The Witcher 3, Overwatch, and Destiny 2. Beyond that, I have an extensive Steam library of games I would love to stream to my viewers, and share an equal appreciation for multiplayer and single-player games, coop and competitive games, and everything in between. From FPS to RTS, if *you* like it, I'd love to learn about it and maybe even give it a go if it especially intrigues me. Besides playing games, I have a passion for music and am a self taught guitar player (I'm not great but hey I have fun), a big movie/filmmaking buff, and a wannabe science educator a la Bill Nye or Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Feel free to ask/talk about your favorite movies, tv shows, songs, artists/bands, games, facts, cool science topics, or anything on your mind! If you enjoy my rambles, tangents, and commentary, great! I hope they make for enjoyable content, and as you'd guess I am always down to talk with my chat! I strive to be a variety streamer who plays an assortment of different games, recently I've been playing Don' Starve Together, Apex legends, and Destiny 2 with pals. I plan on doing some more single-player stuff like BL2/3, Alan Wake, and Control in the near future to name a few.
