I am a retro adventure gamer and will play a variety of games from the past decades. I believe amazing games can come in all shapes and sizes, and admire the devs who dare experiment and create unique experiences. Special place in my heart is reserved for C64!

I love a good adventure, so I am going to play adventures and retro gems like Rick Dangerous, Montezuma's revenge, Indiana Jones, Tomb raider etc. It's all about pyramids and mummies, skeletons and scorpions, rare items and powerful artefacts, exotic locations and of course... danger and horrible death.... But I promise to rise from the ashes each and every time! I will also do so called "theme streams" devoted to a certain topic from "Egypt" to "Racing" **I will be playing on following systems (thanks, emulators!)** C64 (Vice=) MSX (openMSX) Atari 2600 (Stella) ZX Spectrum (Fuse, Retro Virtual Machine) PC (some examples): - The Dagger of Amon Ra - Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - Tomb Raider - The Dig - Loom - Beyond the Steel Sky - Blade Runner etc.........

Some of the completed games - and my thoughts about them

**Caverns of Khafka (c64)** - *Paul Norman's classic. Figure out the controlls and emerge yourself into the hypnotizingly addictive atmosphere of the caves where glitches are a feature. I went from "this game is unplayable" to "i can't stop playing it"* **Lady Tut (C64)**- *Addictive game! Interesting maze mechanics with revolving doors and cool enemies. A very original take on the classic maze games like Pac-Man. Totally recommended!* **Fire Ant (C64)** - *another maze with some annoying rng scorpions but an overall interesting game mechanics. You play as an ant in a postpocalyptic world. How cool is that?! Recommended!* **King's valley** (C64 port, MSX original) - !Warning! *This game can be devilishly rage inducing. The red mummy can make you smash your controller and after a 100th try you will smash the rest of your stuff. And still, I loved this game (some people might disagree) because of a good level design and a smart solution to each level. Recommended!* **Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (PC)** - *This game is a treat. With many extensive levels it amazes with the variety of beautifully detailed locations and clever puzzles. No two levels are the same, so get ready to be surprised. Also, be on the lookout for some most fabulous easter eggs! Level design is amazing though some levels are a-maze. Dialogues and voice acting are beautifully done. Time to grab your copy off Steam/GoG or find your dusty CD and do some whipping!* **Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis** - *this one is a classic. Everything there is to say about this game has been said already* **Millie and Molly (C64)** - *looks and functions as a sequel to Catrap. Proved to be very challenging for me, but then again I'm not the sharpest bulb in the drawer* **Shivers 1 (PC)** - *creates an immersive atmosphere of a mysterious museum with lots of exquisite items and displays. Soundtrack is weird and wonderful, with each area getting its own unique sound. Absolutely loved it! The game's downside is too much walking and backtracking. Still very much recommended for puzzle game lovers!* **The Colonel's Bequest** - Laura Bow's Mystery (PC) - *Nice mystery point'n click where deaths is the best part of the game!* **Kokotoni Wilf (c64)** - *a gem of gravitiy games. Involves a pair of wings and time travel* **Rocky Memphis - The Legend of Atlantis (c64)** - *main character is an Indiana Jones look alike and he even has a whip. Atmospheric levels and intresting puzzles. But a bit too much of walking back and forth* **Joe Gunn (c64)** - *Very cool adventure in a perilous pyramid. Don't trust the title. Joe Gunn likes fancier ways of dealing with trouble makers* **Runn'n'Gunn (c64)** - *run, gun, jump and avoid the obstacles on your way to the big boss. Awesome music/sfx, 3 difficulty modes and 2 brave heroes of the C.O.M.M.O.D.O.R.E squad to switch between.* **Atari2600 (Stella): Raiders of the Lost Ark** - *oh, where do i even start... You need to play it to fully appreciate it* **Willow Pattern** and **Willow Pattern Jolie Edition** (C64) - *Nice looks and even better performance after improvements made by c64_Mark https://c64mark.itch.io/willow-pattern-adventure-jolie-edition This game requires strategy and map skills. Bonus items to collect and of course....oranges!* **Hercules** (c64) - *You can have a few fun minutes with it or try to complete it! For fans of trolly and addictive games. Hard to master - even harder to let go. Achieved highscore 915 600 + a deathless run* **Shovel Adventure (Spectrum)** - *one of my favourites by modern developer Pat Morita Team. Dig holes to trap enemies, collect gems and exit the level before time runs out. Make sure you don't get into your own hole though and you'll be fine....* **Blade Runner (PC)** - *beautiful and atmospheric, a perfect cyberpunk. Simply walking around and enjoying every the screen already makes this game worth your time* **Time Tunnel (c64)** - *A santa looing gnome and a time machine. What else. Not always straighforward, but there's no straighforward when time travel is involved. Lots of exploration and items to discover* **Yolanda (Amiga)** - *When you finished Hercules and want to do the same labours with elegance. Don't miss Trainer mode which contains new levels* **Sir Knight (c16)** - *Hunchback-like game with decent controls and fair collision detection. Fast paced. Deadly. Watch out for arrows to the knee* **Hercules redux by c64_Mark (c16)** - *When you have done both Hercules and Yolanda but still desperate for more torture. New levels, precise controls, fiery platforms, leaps of faith and more fires. Sinister Hades levels. You can play as either Hercules or Yolanda. Did I mention fires?*
