Hi! I'm a musician from Zagreb, Croatia. I've been playing solo gigs since 2015, working on my original songs and streaming regularly since late 2019. I try to be genuine and perform from the heart. I love clear sound and vocals without artificial styling. ###FILOMEL It means nightingale, or lover of melody. It's pronounced FILL-omel. I picked it because people compliment my voice as my strongest feature. And it's easier to say than my real name (Đurđica). :) I actually prefer when people call me Filomel. I share my real name because that's how I started my music career locally. ###GENRES I enjoy music with deep, cerebral lyrics, and I love singer-songwriters. Suzanne Vega is a favorite in particular, but so are Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and Jeff Buckley. My covers are all over the place, from Edith Piaf and old evergreens, to the 80s and Blondie.
