To appease these ghosts, humans would hold a festival offering food and incense to avoid their wrath. Among these spirits was a certain ghost who would appear to only partake in foolery and pranks. This mischievous spirit went by the name Luca and he had no unfinished business! He only wished for his revelry during the festival to last longer. With the intention of fooling King Yama, Luca then devised a nefarious plot and ended up possessing a rich merchant and garbing him in the gaudiest of finery. After stripping the human naked, Luca then released the human and stole the garb and trinkets then making his way down to the Underworld to meet King Yama. After a long journey, Luca arrived at the Underworld High Court and approached King Yama with his outfit, declaring with a booming voice, "It is I, the Supreme King and your Father! I demand an extension of the ghost festival!". King Yama un-amusedly raised an eyebrow and with a snap of his fingers, Luca was sentenced to 1000 years imprisonment along the River of Oblivion. (Luca is not a smart cookie…) >>👺| Kiyora Aori | (◉Θ◉;)・・・ Race: Tengu >>>All Tengu clans attended the ritual celebration held every 100 years at mount Kurama to pray for the continuous and prosperous rule of Sojobo, King of the tengus. Kiyo was appointed to be the cloud maiden for the King's sacred Hauchiwa blessing ceremony! His Hauchiwa was said to have been gifted by the mighty Garuda; King of Birds. This role is only bequeathed to the youngest first born daughter of the Daitengu. Her father, the clan leader, was honored by her sacred role. Kiyo was required to climb 10,000 steps to deliver the sacred Hauchiwa and place it safely on the summit alter. Unfortunately, before she even took the first step, Kiyo released a powerful sneeze tearing 2 feathers from the fan and releasing them to the winds. The Tengu people were outraged and deemed her a physical manifestation of a calamity. As a result of her unintentional actions, she was arrested and sentenced to remain in the underworld for destruction of sacred property. ⛩️════════════⛩️🌙⛩️════════════⛩️
