"Architecture is frozen music; Music is liquid architecture". Sometimes house, sometimes ambient, sometimes something else. Architect figuring out how to make music. Looking to discuss creativity, self-betterment, yoga, physics and philosophy. Share your breath. Find your light. [ENG|ESP|FR]

MY TWITCH STORY

I am an architect whose passion is as much about houses as it is house music (and other music too). I've loved music all my life and have been obsessed with it from the moment I remember feeling a beat for the very first time. Never really had encouragement to puruse music until I joined Twitch in Sept. 2021. After a month streaming Tarot I found myself only watching music streamers and yearning to share music with others but never really having the courage to do so. I then became affiliate and left a channel point redemption titled Sing Mode on (which you can still redeem) that came suggested from Twitch in the hopes that it would force myself to do something musical in front of others. I didn't think anyone would redeem it, but someone did very quickly and luckily I had some really amazing people there to help encourage my exploration! I then did some acoustic covers of songs I had been learning for a while and then I got my synthesizer out and haven't looked back. Twitch has shown me that it is possible for my dream of being a musician to happen.

Your time spent here is more than enough support to me and more than I could ever hope for. Just having your ears paying attention to the sounds that I create is more than my wildest dreams ever allowed me to think would ever come of my music. If you do decide to support this way, my gratitude is beyond words as this supports my dream of being a musician and making that my fulltime career. Everything will be re-invested into the stream for equipment upgrades! I also have a PO Box after many of you requested that I get one! If you feel inclined to send something my way: P.O. MY MUSIC STORY

I share this hoping it will help anyone considering delving deeply into something they love. The answer is YES DO IT. DO IT NOW BECAUSE TOMORROW IS NOT CERTAIN AND ALL WE HAVE IS TODAY! Music has always been something I loved but never had the encouragement or framework to do so. As a child I always wanted to learn to play the harp, or the piano or learn to sing but that was something my parents never encouraged. I only appreciated music by listening most of my life. In middle school I finally was able to get into Band to do some music. Unfortunately my band teacher only taught us how to read notes and nothing else. I didn't continue Band in High School because instead I was taking AP classes being a nerd. I got a guitar in High School but my parents didn't put me in lessons and the ADHD was too strong for me to be able to learn anything on my own. It wasn't until I was finishing my Master's that I decided to learn some music back at the end of 2017. I went home in a rage, determined to learn music no matter what stood in my way. I got a download of Ableton Live 9 and got my guitar and proceeded to teach myself some basic music theory and synthesis but didn't get very far as my career took precedence. I graduated in 2018 and didn't really touch a guitar again until the end of 2019. At which point I was invited to a bonfire with some friends and if you ask me what happened I'll tell you. I had a pretty embarrassing moment when some people could play the guitar beautifully and I could not play anything because all I knew was music theory which didn't translate at all into any kind of musical performance. I went home, grabbed my guitar and said I WILL LEARN SONGS! A couple of months after I bought my first synthesizer in 2020, and then COVID happened right after. I was furloughed for 8 months, all of which I spent learning the guitar, learning songs, and more theory. The synth unfortunately was put away from 2020 until September 2021. But I focused all of my strength on the guitar and tried my best on improving that. I then got a job in December 2020 and was employed at a horrible company for 6 soul-draining months during which I didn't touch any instruments at all. Once I started working at my new job in May 2021 I was able to get inspired by my boss who believed anyone who played the guitar SHOULD be able to sing as well. Up until this point I had only learned the guitar part of the songs and had never sang any songs so I made myself learn to sing and play at the same time which was so hard! (that's why I had avoided it for so long). I started streaming in September 2021 and one month after I was encouraged by the people on stream to share some of the music I was working on via a channel point redemption. I started doing some covers and very quickly had a consistent group of people showing up and supporting me which is beyond my wildest dreams. I then remembered my synthesizer, locked away in a storage unit for all of its life, and decided to have a go at messing around with it on stream...I messed around with it for a few months and then I started rapidly expanding my stream set up. Most of what you see has been added and learned since January 2022! My point is this: do the things you love and the Universe will respond by bringing those around you that need your love the most.
